pinhole magic box

It was my 2d day at a photography workshop about camera obscura . Real magic! A simple box with a tiny hole in it catches images from the outside world. A photo camera without an objective.
These are some of my first tries, on the left (or above) are the original paper photos, negative and mirror reflections of the reality, on the right (or below) are those converted in Photoshop.

All the images were taken with these boxes from coffe, beer and perfume...

Really cool results! I've always wanted to try camera obscura.

you should try it! the camera itself is not difficult to make, for me more difficult is to find the chemistry and paper. apparently there is none in my city, I have to look in the capital, :)))

ooor, you can turn an old photo camera into a pinhole camera (what I think to try), by removing the objective and replacing it with a lid with a tiny hole. You'll have the film, and you'll need the B speed...

Yes, I think I read once that you can put a pinhole in your lens cap, and shoot that way. I have to study this some more, but I am going to try this! Love your results!

Rely amazing results. There is an artist named Ann Hamilton who used her mouth as a camera obscura. I am yet to try this technique, but after seeing your photos I really feel motivated to do so.
